Where are you located?
We process our goats in a Slaughterhouse in San Martin (between San Jose and Gilroy).

Yes, you can come can pick the goat and get that processed the same day. Please call
ahead before you plan your visit.

Will it be with skin or without?
It will be with skin. If needed, we can process without skin too.

Will it be Khasi? And not Boka?
Yes, it will be Khasi and not boka, as we don’t collect anything else.

Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver. Delivery charges apply, please check the pricing section for the rates that
are based on the location.

Can we put Besar (Turmeric) on the Khasi?
Yes, we can arrange for that. You can come with besar, and we’ll let you know once we
remove the hair from the goat.

How do you process the goat?
We run the Khasi through hot water machine, which removes most of the hair. After
this, we do a light burn to burn off the hair, and then cleaned again.

What are your cuts?
We follow the Chop-Chop Cut, where we cut the Khasi into 9-10 pieces. Then each
pieces are cut into 9-10 cut, breaking the big bones. We don’t make smaller pieces as of
now.

How much meat do you get from 80 LB Khasi?
There is no exact way to tell this, as every goat can be different but generally:
48 LB, Skin On Meat (Approximate Weight: 60%)
18 LB, Stomach, Intestine, and Blood (Approximate Weight: 20%)
18 LB, Head and Leg (Approximate Weight: 20%)

Can we get half the Khasi, or less?
Yes, you can get half the Khasi or less if we have someone taking the rest. You can put your info in the Khasi Booking, and we’ll let you know when we have your match with
someone. It can be delivered, but charges apply. Please Note: we are ONLY doing full Khasi for Dashain.
